Grand River Spinners and Weavers Guild

Grand River Spinners and Weavers Guild

The meeting will be held  on the second Tuesday of each month in the upper hall of the Presbyterian church in Caledonia. The address is 117 Argyle St. North, there is an entry off of Argyle St. as well as one around the block to the back of the church parking lot.

Please bring a mask, any refreshments you may want and sign the contact sheet upon arrival. Guild fees are due and have been set at $50 per year. Fees can also be paid in 2 installments of $25 if more convenient.

We marked the guild's 34th night of the me anniversary at the November meeting. While we cannot celebrate the way we usually would, being able to gather again for our meetings certainly makes up for it I think.

Please bring projects finished or not, your lovely skeins of handspun and anything else you would like to show and share.

Return of all equipment, books, magazines and dvd's would be much appreciated, as I am in the process of cataloguing everything in the lending library. If you would like to borrow anything please contact me so I can bring it along.

It is our hope that we will be able to hold our annual silent auction in December. It is an event that everyone enjoys and an important fund raiser for the guild coffers. Donations of used spinning/weaving equipment, books/magazines, fibre, gift baskets, knitted and woven items etc. will all be gratefully accepted for the auction

The Grand River Spinners and Weavers Guild brings together people interested in the crafts of  spinning and weaving, to enjoy the company of other like-minded people, to explore the many facets of this craft, and to share our knowledge with each other and the broader community.

We meet on the second Tuesday of each month at 6:00 pm to 10:30 pm.  For more information, go to "Contact Us" page and we will get back to you. Membership fee is $50.00 per year and you may pay in two installments if you with..
